This truly amazing site, sight and sound occurs when winds blow over the ridges of the sand dunes when they are dry, causing the sand to shift and make a unique type of sound. They are located north-east of Almaty, in the country's largeset national park, Altyn-Emel.

Day 1. Arrival
Meeting and check-in.
Day 2. Almaty
In the morning you are offered a six hours' tour to explore the city's past and present, landmarks, and contemporary centers. You will see squares, monuments, and the Oriental Green Bazaar. The route brings us to Medeo, then we ascend the mountain to see the world's highest TV tower. Then you can lunch on national dishes. We go down by cableway.
Day 3. Almaty Region
An excursion to Big Almaty Lake or Lake Issyk (whichever you choose). Big Almaty Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alatau. Since it is a glacial lake, its water is cold even on hot days. The tourists then ascend to scientific facilities to enjoy breathtaking views.
The way to Lake Issyk crosses a wonderful gorge where caravans used to pass. We ascend to the lake, which is 10,000 years old, then have a picnic and rest. Finally, we return to the hotel.
Day 4. Taraz
An excursion to Sharyn Canyon, which boasts a most impressive rock relief that resembles towels and columns. Lunch on the way. A walk around the Valley of Castles, which is a splendid natural miracle, is offered. We return to the city and go to Taraz by train.
Day 5. Arrival in Taraz. A trip to Shymkent
Tourists are offered to take a sightseeing tour. Taraz is an ancient and very famous city on the Silk Road. It boasts the Aisha-Bibi mausoleum covered with terracotta tiles. We visit the tombs of Babaji Khatun and Aisha-Bibi. Then we go to Shymkent city.
Day 6. Moving to Shaulder, Turkestan and back to Almaty
You can take a tour to the tomb of Yasawi and see some excavations. We move to Turkestan and visit an underground mosque. You will see part of the wall, the eastern bath, and the citadel. It is a pilgrimage site. We then board a train to Almaty.
Day 7. Almaty
Arrival, check-in, and free time. You can visit shopping centers to buy some souvenirs and presents.
Day 8. Departure
After breakfast we go to the airport.
