Day 1. To the Tekes Valley
Departing from Almaty and arriving in the valley of the Tekes River with its head high in the mountains. Local wildlife is most beautiful. A stop in a tent camp. Dinner.
Day 2. A trip to the Tekes Falls
Packing and starting for the head of the Tekes River. Putting up a camp. An excursion to the waterfall. Free time after dinner.
Day 3. Driving to Tekes Falls and Lake Karakol
Moving to Lake Karakol. Putting up a camp for the night. Walking in the nearby. Climbing to the viewing point. Dinner.
Day 4. To the Kokpak Gorge
Moving to the Kokpak Gorge. This place is known due to numerous blind passes that are irresistibly beautiful and do not look like dead ends. Putting up a tent and exploring in the nearby. Dinner and free time.
Day 5. The Kokpak Gorge and transition to Lake Tuzkol
Moving to the lake, putting up a tent on its bank. Lunch. Tuzkol is a salt lake, the density of which varies depending on the season. It water is believed to have healing properties. You can see Khan Tengri Peak on a sunny day.
Meeting the sunset. Dinner.
Day 6. To the Ketmen Pass
Free time until lunch. We move to the pass, which offers beautiful views of the Tian Shan and Jengish Chokusu.
Meeting the sunset and returning to the tent camp. Free time and night rest.
Day 7. Back to Almaty
After breakfast we pack and go back to Almaty. We stop for lunch on the way. Arrival at about 6 p.m.
